Okay, so this may be my ultimate favorite kind of session because I get to photograph so much anticipation from the arrival of your sweet baby all the way until they're a whole year old! The First Year Collection is thoughtfully designed with each session including your choice of premium on-location settings with natural light and beautifully curated environments, or studio sessions with clean, timeless styling. Every milestone is preserved with consistency, creating a cohesive story your family will treasure for generations.

FAQ

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

You don’t have to “know” anything. I’ve got you. I’ll guide you the entire time — where to stand, what to do with your hands, when to move, when to just relax. You don’t need to practice poses or feel awkward. Most of my clients say they were nervous at first and then ended up having so much fun. Just come ready to be yourself — that’s when the magic happens.

 

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

Yes! Anything within a 30-mile radius is already included in your package. No surprise fees or extra add-ons for that.

 

Can you recommend any good locations?

Absolutely. I have several favorite spots depending what you're looking for - open fields at sunset, wooded trails, water views, or something a little more urban. I’ll help you choose a location that fits your vision and outfits so everything feels cohesive.

 

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

We don’t panic. If the forecast looks rough, we’ll stay in touch and make a call together. Sometimes clouds are actually beautiful, but if it’s heavy rain or crazy wind, we’ll reschedule. I always build in flexibility for that.
